Covid-19 vaccines
"Brussels not inclined to Russian vaccine": After numerous criticism regarding the vaccination in the EU, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen switched to offensive by presenting a new programme of action in the battle with the pandemic. (front page, 5)
Banking sector
"Vasle: Bounce back in the second half of year": The governor of Banka Slovenije, Boštjan Vasle, says Slovenian banks have survived the epidemic years 2020 relatively well. However, their scope of business decreased and credit growth stopped. (front page, 8)
Pokljuka Biathlon World Championship
"Day of Slovenian expectations gone bad": The day Slovenians expected the most at the Biathlon World Championship on Pokljuka did not bring particular joy to the Slovenian team. Perhaps the happiest was Miha Dovžan, who for the first time earned himself a spot in Sunday's race after finishing 23rd. (front page, 17)

Health minister candidate
"He would not change strategy of battle with epidemic": Candidate for health minister Janez Poklukar suggested during his presentation in parliament that he would not blindly follow the ideas of the coalition SDS and NSi. However, he also said he would not change the strategy for fighting the epidemic. (front page, 2, commentary 16)
Environment
"Municipal contractor illegally dumps construction waste": Company Prenova-Gradbenik, a subcontractor in many projects of the Ljubljana municipality, is dumping construction waste in Stanežiče near Clovška Street on municipal land without any permits whatsoever. (front page, 9)

De-bureaucratisation efforts
"State can now go after you easier, while businesses and individuals have no easier access to state": The paper presents the results of an almost year-long work of a government strategic council for de-bureaucratisation, finding that the most important achievements are the social cap and that after paying with the card receipt will no longer be required.
