"Charges for savings deposits in a third bank now": Charges for savings deposits for individuals are becoming a new normal in the Slovenian banking system. After NLB and SKB, NKBM is planning to introduce them as other banks are expected to follow suit. (front page, page 9)
Myanmar
"Democracy not giving in": Footages of corpses in pools of blood were coming from cities across Burma last weekend. The UN High Commissioner for Human Rights has confirmed at least 18 people were killed and more than 30 were injured in clashes between protesters and police. (front page, page 5)
Snowboard World Championships
"On Day 1 Rogla in Russian colours": Slovenian snowboarders did not meet the expectations on the first day of the Snowboard World Championships on Rogla. The titles were defended by Russian Dmitry Loginov and German Selina Jörg with Russians winning half the medals. (front page, page 18)
