Slovenia exported 123,000 tonnes of plastic waste in 2020

Ljubljana, 4 March - Slovenia exported slightly over 201,000 tonnes of waste last year, a considerable increase on 2019 when some 135,000 tonnes were exported. The bulk of the exported waste was plastic waste in 2020, up by 30% on 2019 to about 123,000 tonnes. Most of the waste was exported to Malaysia, show official data released this week.
