Dnevnik thinks power has corrupted police

Ljubljana, 9 March - The newspaper Dnevnik is critical in Tuesday's commentary of some recent moves by police, which had enjoyed great trust in the public. Drawing parallels with George Orwell's Animal Farm, it suggests that this is so because politicians, whom people trust much less, have given police more powers, which corrupted the force.
