Main phase of Cerklje air base modernisation nearing completion

Cerklje ob Krki, 15 March - The first and main phase of modernisation of the Cerklje ob Krki military airport, which started in 2009, is expected to be concluded this year, and then second phase is planned to be wrapped up by 2028, state officials have announced. The entire project is estimated at EUR 106 million, with EUR 72 million provided by NATO.
