"Green hope for summer vacation": The European Commission has proposed introducing a green digital certificate containing information on coronavirus vaccination, testing or immunity that is to enable travel without quarantine. It is to be introduced before the summer holidays. (front page, 3)

"The Brits got rejected": The state attorney's office allegedly rejected the possibility of a settlement with the British gas and oil company Ascent Resources, which has been planning to extract natural gas through hydraulic fracturing, also known as fracking, in Slovenia. (front page, 2)

"Cold relations in Alaska": The US has made its concerns regarding the attitude to the Muslim Uyghurs and China's muscle flexing in SE Asia known ahead of a meeting of senior diplomats of the US and China. (front page, 5)

"Hundreds of thousands of doses slipped through our fingers": Slovenia has so far received 333,000 shots of coronavirus vaccine, data by the Health Ministry show. This is more than the EU average per capita but far from the best in the EU. (front page, 2)

"Increasingly cheap housing loans": The prices of housing loans dropped some more this year, interest rates are record low. It should be possible to get the fixed interest rate for a housing loan that is below 2%, the paper says. (front page, 2, 3)

Calculations of subsidised fixed costs
"We explain the rules for calculating subsidised fixed costs": The Financial Administration has published new rules on the paying out and returning of some fixed costs in line with the sixth stimulus package, which were amended in the seventh package, and have been extended until the end of March. Vaccination
"Government late with payment for vaccination": The burden of the costs of Covid-19 vaccination have been shifted onto the state budget with the seventh stimulus package. However, although the vaccination has been under way since 27 December 2020, the government or the Health Ministry have not paid anything until 11 March. (front page, 4, 5)
