Changes allowing military investments to proceed passed

Ljubljana, 26 March - Parliament passed on Friday in a 49:33 vote changes to the budget implementation act under which funding restrictions would not apply to military investments. The centre-left opposition believe this is an attempt by the government to bypass the Constitutional Court, which recently stayed legislation on EUR 780 million worth of defence investments.
