Retail sees 4.4% growth in first quarter

Ljubljana, 29 April - Turnover in retail trade increased by 4.4% in the first quarter of the year over the same period last year. In March, it was up by 24% year-on-year, as most shops were closed in March 2020, and in retail trade with non-food products it increased by 50%, the Statistics Office said on Thursday.
