292 new infections confirmed as 7-day average inches up

Ljubljana, 16 May - A total of 2,471 PCR tests for the novel coronavirus were performed in Slovenia on Saturday to confirm 292 infections, with the positivity rate staying flat at 11.8% compared to the day before. The seven-day average of new infections was up by 2 to 449, the latest figures released by the government show.
