Independence anniversary celebrations shifting into higher gear

Ljubljana, 18 May - May, June and July are bringing a host of events to mark 30 years of independent Slovenia, peaking on 25 June, Statehood Day, at a state ceremony in Ljubljana's Republic Square. The anniversary will be celebrated at events put on by various stakeholders in Slovenia and by the Slovenian diaspora and diplomatic missions abroad.
