Coalition and part of opposition see no merit in impeachment motion

Ljubljana, 26 May - The coalition, joined by the opposition National Party (SNS), stood firm on their position in parliament on Wednesday that the accusations levelled against Prime Minister Janez Janša in the impeachment motion were without merit. The opposition Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) called the motion a populist move but stopped short of saying how it would vote.
