Dnevnik says new lists, independents gaining ground in Croatia

Ljubljana, 1 June - Analysing the local election in Croatia, Dnevnik says in Tuesday's commentary Knocking on the Door of the Great that new lists, platforms and independents seem to be gaining ground and challenging the supremacy of the ruling HDZ and the opposition SDP. The HDZ has declared itself absolute winner of the election, but it lost in three biggest cities.
