Army membership planned to be increased to 10,000 by 2035

Ljubljana, 21 June - The Defence Ministry presented on Monday a long-term programme for the Slovenian Armed Forces (SAF) that envisages a different structure, organisation and equipping, an overhaul of the system of military education and training and a financial framework for realising these plans. The number of SAF members is expected to rise to 10,000 by 2035.
