International NGOs call for protection of media freedom during EU presidency

Ljubljana, 25 June - Several international NGOs promoting freedom of the press have called on the Slovenian government to refrain during the presidency of the EU Council from attempts to undermine initiatives that aim to improve the conditions for freedom of the press in EU member states and in EU candidate countries.
