Pogačar won the Tour de France, the world's biggest multiple-stage road cycling race, at just 22 years of age last year to be catapulted among the world's biggest cycling stars.

He currently ranks second in the UCI rankings, after Roglič, nine years his senior, who completed the Tour as the runner-up after which he went on to defend his overall victory of the Vuelta, the tour of Spain.

Garnbret, 22, has been at the very top in the world's sport climbing and is a serious contender for gold at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the first time that climbing will be included in the Games.
