Slovenia's general government deficit in Q1 at 8.3% of GDP

Ljubljana, 30 June - Measures to mitigate the consequences of the Covid-19 epidemic affected Slovenia's public finances also in the first quarter of the year, with the general government deficit amounting to EUR 969 million or 8.3% of the country's GDP, the Statistics Office said on Wednesday. This is somewhat less than in the last quarter of 2020.
