Paper says Slovenia assuming EU presidency as divided society

Ljubljana, 2 July - Slovenia has assumed the six-month presidency of the Council of the EU as a country excessively burdened by internal issues and a society heavily divided. For all political players, the presidency will be a continuation of an election campaign that has been going on for months, Dnevnik says in Friday's commentary.
