Hojs causes confusion among EU reporters with swine statement
Brdo pri Kranju, 2 July - Interior Minister Aleš Hojs caused confusion at Friday's briefing for Brussels correspondents dedicated to the start of the Slovenian presidency of the EU Council. The journalists interpreted one of his replies as taking aim at European Commission First Vice President Frans Timmermans with a pearls-swine metaphor. Hojs has denied the accusation.
