Exhibition on illustrator Hinko Smrekar opens at National Gallery
Ljubljana, 8 July - An exhibition on versatile Slovenian artist Hinko Smrekar opened at the National Gallery in Ljubljana on Thursday. Smrekar (1883-1942) was one of the pioneers of Slovenian graphic art, and his illustrations for literary works helped elevate book design to an international level.
