Parliament passes changes to public procurement law

Ljubljana, 13 July - The National Assembly passed on Tuesday a set of changes to the public procurement act in a 51:14 vote. The first change to the law since its passage in 2015 aims to simplify public procurement while also making it more transparent, flexible and efficient. Two opposition parties meanwhile fear it would enhance corruption risks.
