Fate of demographic fund bill remains uncertain

Ljubljana, 14 July - The National Assembly launched on Wednesday the final reading of a bill on the creation of a national demographic fund, a super-fund that would pool together most state equity stakes in order to finance public pensions in the long term. The fate of the bill hangs in the balance, and even if it is passed on Thursday a referendum challenge looms.
