Little known post-war ski race subject of American film
Bovec/Cannes, 20 July - On 3 July 1945 the 10th Mountain Division of the US Army organised a ski race on Mt. Mangart in Slovenia. The event would have been but a footnote in history books were it not for a Slovenian officer and an American film-maker, who has turned the story into a documentary film.
