Darja Bavdaž Kuret becomes special adviser to UN General Assembly president

New York, 13 September - Darja Bavdaž Kuret, Slovenia's former permanent representative to the UN General Assembly, was appointed special adviser to Abdulla Shahid, the president of the 76th UN General Assembly (UNGA). Shahid will officially assume his presidency over the UNGA on Tuesday, taking over from Volkan Bozkir of Turkey.
