Early diagnosis of Alzheimer's key, but obstacles remain

Ljubljana, 20 September - Early detection of Alzheimer's disease is a stated objective in Slovenia and instrumental for providing treatment in the early stages of the disease. However, it is estimated that three quarters of all patients remain undiagnosed. There are several obstacles to early detection, including lack of staff and expensive diagnostics.
