MPs divided in debate on fines for indecent behaviour

Ljubljana, 21 September - The National Assembly debated on Tuesday changes to the public order act that most notably introduce fines for indecent behaviour if detected by police officers on the spot. A majority of the opposition said the purpose was to silence criticism of the authorities, while the coalition said it was about preventing street violence.
