Finger-pointing as MPs debate 15 September violent protests

Ljubljana, 28 September - The parliamentary Home Policy Committee discussed on Monday the violent protests in front of parliament on 15 September, with part of the coalition MPs seeking the causes for violence in the weekly anti-government protests that are supposedly instigated by certain opposition deputies. The opposition rejected these allegations.

A large crowd gathered in front of Parliament House to decry the Covid pass mandate. Protests turned violent and police deployed tear gas and a water cannon to break up the rally.
