Coalition and opposition remain at odds over STA funding

Ljubljana, 8 October - The National Assembly convened on Friday for an emergency plenary session debating the precarious situation of the Slovenian Press Agency (STA). The centre-left opposition urged the reinstatement of STA funding based on the law, whereas the coalition stressed the need for clearer rules and oversight.
