Mladina: Schizophrenic Public Opinion

Slovenes would like to see Slovenia integrated into NATO only if its admittance reduced a risk of attack against Slovenia, that is if the nation could benefit from it, the latest opinion poll carried out by weekly Mladina and the Ljubljana Faculty of Social Sciences revealed. If joining NATO meant additional expenses, most of the polled are against Slovenia's membership of NATO.
