Coronavirus restrictions
"New measures coming, existing measures circumvented": Even though inspection services have stepped up their checks, many businesses still flaunt the vaccinated-recovered-tested rule. The government is meeting today to discuss new restrictions amidst surging cases. (front page, 3, 12)

Banking
"Cards in banking reshuffled": The tie-up between Gorenjska Banka and Sberbank will create the third largest banking group in Slovenia. Consolidation of the banking market will continue and there is talk about NLB being interested in Addiko Banka. (front page, 10)

Judiciary budget
"Less money jeopardises work": The government's decision to cut funding for the judiciary in next year's budget appears to be a way to jeopardise the work of the judiciary and the prosecution and reflects the government's attitude to the judiciary. (front page, 2)
