Housing law
"Apartment owners in for higher bills": In line with the housing act passed in June, the costs of running reserve funds for apartment buildings will go up as funds will need to be kept on separate account for each building, whereas now building managers kept the funds from multiple buildings on a single account. New Constitutional Court president
"New head of Constitutional Court": Matej Accetto was elected president of the Constitutional Court by his peers yesterday. He will succeed Rajko Knez. (front page)

Covid-19
"Hospitals waiting for help from other countries": A protocol for moving Covid-19 patients to other countries is ready as Slovenia is struggling to cope with the inflow of patients. Now they are waiting for agreements with countries willing to accept patients. (front page, 3)

"PCT requirement: With certificate, you must also show your ID": Stricter rules entered into force yesterday to curb the spread of coronavirus. Along with the recovered-vaccinated-tested (PCT) certificate, the person now also needs to show a valid ID document to prove their identity. (front page, 3)

Murder
"He burnt his wife and is going to prison for 23 years": A man doused his wife with petrol before setting her on fire last August. She died two weeks later. The man was sentenced to 23 years in prison yesterday. (front page, 10)

Labour market
"How to get young people into jobs": In autumn, unemployment surged because of young people hitting the labour market. This October, a total of 2,578 first-time job seekers registered with the Employment Service. (front page, 2-3)
