Parliamentary Schedule for September Adopted

Ljubljana, 3 September - PARLIAMENT/SPEAKER/SESSION
The Parliament will hold an emergency session on Slovenia's failed bid for NATO membership, national strategy of joining NATO in the post-Madrid period and the interpellation against the government, on September 25 and 26, the Parliament Speaker's college comprising parliamentary fraction leaders decided at its first session in the fall term. The college also set a plan for parliamentary work in September, deciding that the government would present the 1997 budget proposal at an extraordinary session scheduled for next Wednesday, 10 September.
