Covid-19 vaccination
"Increasing interest for first dose": It seems that people are motivated to get their first Covid-19 shot by the stricter enforcement of the recovered-vaccinated-tested (PCT) rule and the increasing number of patients in hospitals. (front page, 3)

Alcohol and Covid-19
"Drinkers and bullies went into hiding": While the consumption of alcohol and the number of related traffic accidents and violations of public peace and order is decreasing in the EU as a whole, it is increasing in Slovenia. (front page, 17)

Ski jumping

"Government insists on testing in school": Mandatory self-testing of primary and secondary school children in schools starts today. Head teachers have proposed that younger children get tested at home, but the government is not accepting this for now. (front page, 2)

Epidemic
"Dangerous closure of healthcare": Doctors are yet to see the peak of the fourth wave of the Covid-19 epidemic in Slovenia, as the healthcare system is facing shortage of staff and non-essential surgeries are being cancelled. (front page, 2-3)

Environment minister
