"I would rather not speak much about passing the 1997 budget since it will soon be all over and a matter of fact. On the other hand, coalition talks about the 1998 budget have already started with an agreement between the three coalition partners to make effort to draft the budget as soon as possible, possibly by the end of October, and immediately table it in the Parliament. In this way we could make up for the delay caused by special political circumstances", Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek said in an interview for daily Večer's Saturday edition.
