Finance Committee clears higher general tax relief

Ljubljana, 1 December - The Finance Committee has approved amendments to the personal income tax act proposed by the government to raise the general tax relief and thus take-home pay for everyone. Opposition MPs expressed concern over the impact on fiscal sustainability but Finance Minister Andrej Šircelj pointed to rising tax revenue on the back of an economic rebound.
