Slovenia, Croatia to Establish Free Trade Zone

Ljubljana, 9 September - SLOVENIA/CROATIA/CHAMBER/ECONOMY
Slovenia and Croatia could establish a free-trade zone towards the end of this year or early next year, Jožko Čuk and Nadan Vidošević, chamber of economy chairmen of Slovenia and Croatia, said during a meeting in Ljubljana on Tuesday. They said they would personally commit themselves to prevent open political issues between the ecountries, including the Krško N-plant, the Piran Bay, Ljubljanska banka and the property agreement, from delaying the establishing of the free-trade zone.
