Večer says successes of athletes not product of a system

Ljubljana, 15 December - Večer takes the occasion of yesterday's Athlete of the Year event to note that sport talent in Slovenia is not produced by a well-functioning system but by enthusiasts, hard workers, uncompromising fighters and visionaries with enough knowledge and perseverance to compete on an equal footing with richer rivals despite their minimal budget.
