Ljubljana benchmark index gains ground

Ljubljana, 16 December - The SBI TOP index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange gained half a percent on Thursday. The busiest issues, those of pharma company Krka and NLB bank, had mixed fortunes, losing 0.43% and gaining 1.83%, respectively. This was after the NLB shareholders meeting endorsed an extra dividend. In all, EUR 2.73 million worth of securities changed hands.
