Premier Drnovšek: CEFTA Part of Preparation for EU Membership

The essence of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) is in the deepening of cooperation, permanent discussions on all levels and in the efficient exchange of information in the field of economic cooperation among the member countries. Such cooperation will be of great help in increasing the efficiency of preparations for membership of the European Union, Slovenia's Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek said in his welcome address at the plenary session of CEFTA prime ministers Friday in Portorož.
