"Voters reward those who take a side": The more a party is clear about its ideology, the more stable its support is among voters, however most parties count on going centrist. (front page, page 2)

Audit
"Vesel rips apart Koritnik's cloud": The Court of Audit has found a number of irregularities in the Public Administration Ministry's project on the national cloud computing system. The audit took into account a period from the start of 2014 through June last year. The ministry plans to comment on the report in the new year. (front page, page 4)

Protest
"Against further restrictions on rights": Protesters against Covid restrictions gathered yesterday in front of Parliament House, even though the provisions they oppose had been dropped from the latest anti-Covid legislative package. (front page, page 3)

Energy
"Good prospects for wind energy": Spatial plans are currently being drawn up in Slovenia for nine wind farms. If the investors were to install all the planned turbines at the same time, over 70 wind turbines would be up and running in the western Primorska region and 26 in the east of the country. "Portal for 131,000 people without GP": A new portal will help people in Slovenia find a new GP, paediatrician, gynaecologist or dentist in the event they do not have one. The project is run by the Sledilnik association, which also came up with the national Covid tracker. (front page, page 4, commentary 12)

"Covid-19 increasingly resembles a cold": In the wake of the Omicron spread, Covid-19 symptoms increasingly resemble the signs of a common cold, whereas the symptoms associated with the disease so far are becoming rarer. (front page, page 4)

"What is entering the market and at what price": Most of the new properties that will be built in 2022 or 2023 are almost completely sold. An average price per square metre has risen from EUR 3,500 to well above EUR 4,000. (front page, pages 2, 3)
