Čeferin announces candidacy for new term as UEFA president
Nyon, 29 December - Aleksander Čeferin has told the Politico news portal that he intends to run for another term at the helm of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) in 2023. In light of the upcoming "super election year" in Slovenia, Čeferin reiterated he did not plan to enter Slovenian politics.
