Nuclear energy
"Another nuclear power plant in ten years": Slovenia's second nuclear power plant is projected to be built by 2033, and there are efforts underway to extend the operation of the existing plant until 2043. (front page, pages 3, 7)

Person of the Year
"Who to receive Delo's honourable title": The newspaper publisher Delo will declare its Person of the Year tonight, with the keynote speaker being former president Milan Kučan. (front page)

Ski jumping
"Kos confirms he's the best despite falling": The first three meets of the Four Hills Tournament have been won by Japan's ski jumper Ryoyu Kobayashi. Slovenia's Lovro Kos was again on form at the latest event but his fall in the first series upset the apple cart. (front page, pages 17, 19)

"DARS would expand Ljubljana-bound motorway sections already this year": The national motorway company DARS plans to expand two motorway sections leading to Ljubljana already this year pending environmental permits. (front page, page 8)
