Philologist Gantar sees good translation as supreme art

Ljubljana, 7 February - Kajetan Gantar, 91, is an acclaimed philologist of classical languages and translator from Greek and Latin into Slovenian who has received one of the two Prešeren Prizes for lifetime achievements for his "priceless contribution" to presenting classical literature and philosophy to Slovenians.
