Committee okays changes to labour act, rejects energy poverty bill

Ljubljana, 20 January - The Labour Committee approved on Thursday opposition-sponsored changes to the employment relationships act that shorten the period of payment of sick leave compensation charged to the employer. An opposition-sponsored bill to prevent energy poverty was meanwhile rejected, as the government is drafting a similar bill of its own.
