General election
"Election winner will not necessarily be PM-designate": Regardless of whether the Democrats (SDS), who are ahead in public opinion polls, win the election, Janez Janša may not get the mandate to form a government. President Borut Pahor says he will award it to the one who has the necessary majority in parliament to get endorsed. (front page, page 2)
Public sector wages
"Hunt open for wage rises": With doctors nearing a deal on higher pay, now other trade unions in the public sector too are increasingly vocal in their demands for pay disparities to be addressed. (front page, page 4)
Coronavirus at Ljubljana Zoo
"King of animals with a swab up his snout": The Ljubljana Zoo has been testing animals for coronavirus since the start of the epidemic, but has not had a single positive case yet. (front page, page 17)

Doctors' pay

The editor of Radio Slovenija 1 programme will be removed from the procedure to appoint MMC editor-in-chief, which journalists see as a blow to Radio Slovenija and a danger to MMC. Fine for criticism of authorities
