Delo: East of Eden

Ljubljana, 24 September - Over the past few years Slovenia has been expanding the selection of wine on the home market by purchasing quality wine in Macedonia, however, these "purchases" were far less abundant than they are to be this year, the Wednesday issue of Delo writes. The increase is likely due to the state taking into consideration a relatively strong and well-organized wine lobby; thus the government, by giving this last chance to viticulture, tried to save a rather shaky part of agriculture.
