Foreign workforce
"Number of foreign workers doubles": A total of 112,000 foreigners were active on the Slovenian labour market last November, which is double the number from ten years ago. (front page, 3)
Coronavirus
"25.7 million for self-testing": The Ministry of Education has assessed that the measure of self-testing of school children has been effective, as it has reduced the number of infections and in-person schooling continues. Some 1,500 children are still quarantined at home. (front page, 4)
Beijing Olympics
"Warm reception for Urša Bogataj": Several hundred people welcomed yesterday ski jumper Urša Bogataj, who won two gold medals at the Winter Olympics, in her native Polhov Gradec as she returned from Beijing. (front page, 18-19)
