Slovenia submits UN resolution on early drug abuse prevention

Vienna, 14 February - Slovenia, a new member of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND), submitted on Monday a draft resolution calling on the international community to step up efforts to prevent the use of illicit drugs in particular among children and youth. The CND will debate the resolution at its 65th session in mid-March.
