The Parliament confirmed on Thursday the proposal by Prime Minister Janez Drnovšek to appoint Boris Frlec Slovenia's new foreign minister. Formerly ambassador in Bonn, Frlec (61) will replace Zoran Thaler who resigned from the post on 31 July.
