Construction industry
"Construction growing and so are prices going sky high": There is huge demand for construction services with the outlook for growth to continue at least this year and the next. (front page, page 9)
Public broadcaster
"Impact of opinion polls on electorate": New members of the supervisory board and programming council of RTV Slovenija have taken issue with the public opinion polls commissioned by the broadcaster from Mediana. (front page, page 2)
Health and social care strike
"They demand fair pay for fair work": Trade unions in health and social care called for fair pay for fair work yesterday as strike was under way at hospitals, health centres, care homes, social work centres and pharmacies. (front page, page 3)

"More than 2000 nurses short": The Chamber of Nurses and Midwives estimates an extra 1,100 nurses are lacking in primary care alone. The shortages will be felt even more post-Covid due to delays in treatments. (front page, page 2)
Pre-school education
"No plan to raise Ljubljana kindergarten fees": Before enrolment starts in March in the 23 municipal kindergartens in Ljubljana, Mayor Zoran Janković has promised prices will not go up this year. (front page, page 9)
