"Ever more demands for higher wages": It will be known today whether teachers will go on strike on 9 March, while nurses and staff at social care institutions and pharmacies, who were on strike on Wednesday, call on the government to continue talks. (front page, 3)
Road infrastructure
"Construction of underpass in Škofljica to start this year": The Infrastructure Ministry has presented a EUR 200 million project of a new road route from Ljubljana to the Petrina border crossing with Croatia that goes through Ribnica and Kočevje, the so-called 3a development axis. (front page, 8)
Berlin Philharmonic
"Again in Ljubljana after more than 121 years": The Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Kirill Petrenko and including three Slovenian musicians, will perform this evening in Cankarjev Dom after visiting Ljubljana for the last time on 30 April 1900. (front page)

"Relaxation of measures with a delay": The government was supposed to confirm yesterday recommendations from experts that the Covid pass mandate be relaxed for banks, post offices, shops, administrative units, libraries and gas stations, but it seems that the things got complicated due to requests of Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek. Infrastructure in Maribor
"New bridge across the Drava": A contract has been signed for the company Macro 5 Gradnje to build a bridge for pedestrians and cyclists next to the main bridge across the Drava in Maribor. The project is estimated at EUR 5 million. (front page, 17)

"Paper withstands even tourism holding": The paper says that information about the intention of the state to merge tourism companies into a holding is scarce, and wonders whether it is sensible to later sell seven large state-owned tourism companies that manage hotels at elite locations. Observation tower in Rogaška Slatina
"Slatina wins a 'jackpot' from the state": The state will provide a EUR 2 million subsidy to the municipality of Rogaška Slatina for the construction of an observation tower, which is more that it will get in tax from the winner of the recent EUR 11 million Eurojackpot from Slovenia, who is yet to reveal themselves.
